Monitoring imaging status
Use the Imaging Status section to monitor the progress of an imaging job. To update the status information, click Refresh Page on the imaging set console. Status information is also available in the default Imaging Set view.
The Imaging Status section provides the following fields:
-
Start Time — Displays the start time and date of the imaging set. This field is visible only when the imaging set is in Submitting or Imaging status.
- Status — Provides any of the following values, depending on the imaging job in the imaging status section and in the default Imaging Set view:
Status What happened What it means Staging User clicked Image Documents. The job is in the queue. The imaging set is awaiting execution. Preparing files The Imaging Request Agent began preparing files. Relativity is splitting files into batches and preparing them for the imaging job. A percentage tracker displays the progress. Submitting The Imaging Request Agent began submitting documents to the Processing and Imaging Queue. Relativity is creating the imaging job and submitting documents to the queue. One or more documents encountered an error during imaging. Error - Job Failed The job manager encountered an exception. The job manager terminated the imaging job. Stopping User clicked Stop. The Processing and Imaging Queue is stopping worker jobs. Documents are being updated so that Has Images is set to No. Stopped by user The job stopped. All worker agents have stopped imaging documents. The job manager has stopped the job.
- Image Completion — Displays the number of remaining documents, successfully imaged documents, documents with errors, and skipped documents.
- Completion Rate — Displays the rate at which documents are submitted or imaged, expressed as documents per hour.
- Last Run Error — Displays the error from the most recently completed job that ended with errors.
During imaging, Relativity skips documents that already have images, documents with restricted native types, and documents with images in a pending state (that is, documents with the Has Images field set to Yes). These documents are included in the skipped documents count.
Delete an imaging set only when it has one of the following statuses:
- Stopped by user
- Error - Job Failed
- Completed with errors
- Completed
