Permissions

Feature Permissions is the primary location for managing access to Relativity features. Use the Features tab to quickly set permissions at the instance level and per group user role at the workspace-level: Administrators, Power Users, Basic Users, and Reviewers user roles. When you enable a feature, Relativity automatically applies the required permissions in the background so authorized users can access it. Permissions need to be configured at the instance level and the workspace level.

For details on Features Permissions, see Feature permissions. See Instance-level permissions and Workspace-level permissions for details on setting up aiR for Review permissions.

Feature Permissions provide an alternative to Relativity's security management by shifting the focus from Object Types and Tab Visibility to feature-based permissions. This method is simply another option; any feature-specific permissions information already in this and other topics is still applicable. The Feature Permissions interface enables administrators to manage permissions at the feature level, offering a more intuitive experience. By viewing granular permissions associated with each feature, administrators can ensure comprehensive control, ultimately reducing complexity and minimizing errors. For details see Instance-level permissions and Workspace-level permissions.

Instance-level permissions

aiR for Review is a modernized feature permission at the instance level. You can only grant or revoke access to aiR for Review by enabling or disabling the aiR for Review feature permission directly. The underlying granular permissions are locked and controlled by the feature toggle. For details on accessing the Admin Security, see Instance Details.

The aiR for Review Jobs tab at the instance level displays all jobs across all workspaces, with additional columns for workspace, matter, and client per job. Users can view the aiR Review Jobs list, check job details, and cancel unfinished jobs.
