Match Equivalent Domains
The Match Equivalent Domains pipeline step identifies email address domains that are different but belong to the same underlying organization and decides what communicating email addresses (aliases) belong to the same individual (entity). The AI uses both similarity between domains and document content to find matching equivalent domains.
Requirements
Following are requirements for the Match Equivalent Domains pipeline step:
- You must perform both the Run action and the Apply Annotations action on the Match Equivalent Domains pipeline step. The Run action will identify similar email address domains and populate those domain pairs on the Equivalent Domains tab.
- Before performing the Apply Annotations action, you must annotate equivalent domains based on the conditions outlined in Annotate equivalent domains by selecting a choice on the Annotator Decision field. Note: The AI considers equivalent domains not annotated on the Annotator Decision field as Not Equivalent Domains. This may cause the creation of many entities for the same individual. You can fix these issues during the Validate Attorneys pipeline step.
- The Apply Annotations action will apply your annotations to the AI to decide what communicating email addresses and aliases belong to the same individual or entity.
