Redact Validation
Note: Some functionality described in this topic has been released via a phased rollout, meaning that certain customers receive it before others. For that reason, you may be seeing documentation for features that you do not yet have in your Relativity instance. For more information on phased rollouts see the Phased Rollout FAQ on the Community.
The Redact Validation scripts help you identify documents with incompatible markups before production to ensure that sensitive information is protected. The Redact Validation agents, which check documents for potential markup issues, run nightly by default. You can then run a Redact Validation script to see which documents have markup issues and ensure they are resolved before production.
Redact Validation scripts
There are four different Redact Validation scripts and the rationale why you might use each one is provided below.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Redact Validation - Skip All Scheduled Documents | This script is for when you have performance concerns and want to limit how many documents are checked. Only markups applied after Sept. 2024 will be validated when running this script. |
Redact Validation - View Document Status | This script is for validating all eligible documents in a workspace. A document is eligible if it has had a markup created or edited and was flagged by the Redact Validation agents. Only markups applied after Sept. 2024 will be validated when running this script. |
Redact Validation - Skip Scheduled Documents by Saved Search | This script is for when you have performance concerns and you have a saved search that contains all of the documents you want to validate. Only markups applied after Sept. 2024 will be validated when running this script. |
Redact Validation - View Document Status by Saved Search | This script is for when you have a saved search that you want to validate prior to production. This script is recommended because it validates markups that were applied both before and after Sept. 2024. |
