Check for production conflicts

A conflict check compares the documents in your production against those in a saved search set in the Production Restrictions field on the workspace details page. For example, the saved search may contain conditions that identify privileged documents and their families — documents that should be excluded from production. See Production restrictions for more information.

You must have permissions to the documents included in a production to remove production restrictions.

To check for production conflicts:

  • On the Production console, click Check for Conflicts.

If a saved search is restricting the production, a Production Restrictions warning appears.

The Production Restrictions warning dialog with Remove Conflicts and Cancel buttons

The warning includes the following options:

  • Remove Conflicts—Deletes documents identified as conflicts from the production set (based on the Production Restrictions setting). If all the documents are conflicts, they are removed from the production set.
To view a list of removed documents, click the History tab and filter by the Production - Remove Document action.
  • Cancel—Stops the conflict check and displays the production page.
