Copying text from a transcript
You can copy transcript text using either Relativity.Transcripts or the Transcript application. If you open an MDB file in the Native Viewer, you can copy text in the Transcript Text panel and if you open a .ptf, .xmptf, .rtf, .trn, .lef, .xmef, .txt, or .mp4, you can copy text in the Transcript Viewer.
Copying text only
To copy transcript text only:
- Open a transcript in the Native Viewer or the Transcript Viewer.
- Select the text you want to copy.
- Right-click and select Copy Text from the menu.
Copying text with page:line numbers
To copy text with page:line numbers:
- Open a transcript in the Native Viewer or Transcript Viewer.
- Select the text you want to copy.
- Right-click and select Copy With Page:Line from the menu.
You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts after selecting the text you want to copy:
- Ctrl + C - copies text only.
- Ctrl + Alt + C - copies text with page:line numbers.
