Roles and security permissions

Access to aiR for Privilege is granted through individual actions in the Permissions UI. Each action bundles the tab and object-level permissions needed for that specific capability.

Three presets (Case SME, Annotator, Project Manager) pre-select the right combination of actions for each typical role, or admins can select actions individually to build a custom combination.

Client Brain set up

Client Brain access is managed at the instance level, not through Feature Permissions.

To use the Privilege Client Brain feature and set up a new project, Project Managers need the following instance-level permission:

Object security Tab visibility Admin operations
  • Client - view
  • Clients
  • View Admin Repository

To enable this permission, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Permissions UI, select Admin Security.
  2. Select theFeatures tab.
  3. Locate Client and Matter Management in the features list.
  4. Select See details to expand the available actions.
  5. Enable the View Clients option.
  6. Select Granular permissions mapping to expand and review details.
  7. Select Review and Save to confirm your selection.

The Privilege application uses the following permissions, which are available as preset options in the Permissions UI.
