Matter Home

The Matter Home tab is the central hub for Case Strategy. From this tab, you can extract facts from documents to help you understand who did what and when. You can then open the Facts tab to view the facts in chronological order on the Timeline. Matter Home is also where you can draft memos aided by generative AI to help build your case. While you can draft any type of memo you would like, some common examples include: Witness summary, Deposition outline, Case summary, and Issue summary. Once memos are drafted, you can open, edit, and export them on the Memos tab.

Enabling the Matter Home tab

The Matter Home tab is not accessible to users by default.

To grant access to the Matter Home tab for a group of users:

1. Open the workspace where you wish to grant access.
2. Navigate to the Workspace Details tab.
3. Click on Manage Workspace Permissions.
4. Optionally, add the group to the workspace, if it has not already been added.
5. Click Edit Permissions in the row of the group you wish to grant access.
6. Select Feature Permissions.
7. Under the Case Strategy section, select View Matter Home.
8. Click Review and Save.
9. Click Save.
